Glen Petersen Architect in conjunction with Peddle Thorp Architect PNG Limited was engaged to prepare the design proposal for this prominent site in LAE on the waterfront on the site of the original Lae airport. The proposal was prepared to show Local Authorities and Land Owner groups the potential of the property.

The proposed precinct contains a 150 room hotel with conference centre, restaurant and bar, waterfront restaurants with premium office space above. There is also a Secure Residential Unit Development with 50 units all linked together with a promenade along the waterfront replete with a public square and the end of a dramatic axis that runs through the site.

Area/Extent: 150 Room Hotel and Conference Centre + 9,000m² Commercial Office & Retail + 50 Residential Units
